Hello all. I'm doing an extra push on a couple items that may be of interest to members Rochester Movie Makers.

Secondly, here's a message from Rick Staropoli about Discreet Charm's upcoming feature production:
***
Hi, all! You're receiving this e-mail because you have either expressed interest in helping out on our feature, Second-Story Man, or because one of us producers THOUGHT you'd be willing/interested. Now's the time for us to get specific.
First, about the film: It's our first feature, after a series of successful short narratives. It was co-written by Neal Dhand and Richard Jackson, and will be directed by Neal. The producers are Neal, Scott Lancer and myself. We shoot 1/4 through 1/23, 18 shoot days (Sundays off). Many of the days are partially or wholly exterior shoots, though we'll always have at least limited comfort on set.
WE NEED ALL KINDS OF ASSISTANCE! Do you have a car? Even better, do you have a minivan/truck/van? And do you like driving? And can you drive big things? Do you have basic ability with makeup? Do you like catering (either the cooking or the setting-up)? Do you just want to be on set, ready to do what needs doing? Are you into construction? Do you lug heavy objects just for fun? Do you enjoy cleaning or painting? How about the very important task of standing near the set, stopping people from walking through?
Here's what I need from you: I'd love an e-mail with the following pieces of information, EVEN IF YOU THINK I ALREADY KNOW.
1. Your phone and e-mail.
2. What days/times during the shoot that you're available.
3. HOW MANY of those days you'd LIKE to help.
4. Whether you have transportation.
5. Whether you'd consider having your car used by others.
6. Where you live (town/city).
7. Whether you're bored between now and the shoot.
8. What skills you have that might apply (like the ones mentioned above).
9. What you'd LIKE to do.
Make sense? Also, please feel free to call me (number below) at any time with questions.
On behalf of the SSM production team, and not for the last time: THANK YOU!
Rick
