The next Rochester Movie Makers Members Meeting is March 29th at 6:30pm at the Visual Studies Workshop, 31 Prince Street. Parking in the rear of the building and enter in the front.

Congratulations to the winners of the first RMM 72 Hour Mind2Movie competition. First place went to Vanessa Tobis, the Madhatters team with A Hazel Memory. 2nd place film was Welcome to the Neighborhood from Eric Johnsons team, OFC Videos. It was standing room only at the Little Theater for 10 great short films made in Rochester by Rochesterians this winter. Thanks to everyone who participated, helped and viewed these films.
RMM 2010 Summer Shorts-10 Page Screenplays are read at the March 29th RMM Member meeting at Visual Studies Workshop. Bring enough copies of your screenplay for each actor needed. RMM members will do live table reads at the meeting, vote for the best screenplays and produce some or all during the RMM Summer Shorts 2010. Some of the RMM Writers are working on several short films with a common Lunchbox theme. For more information attend any RMM meeting or visit www.RochesterMovieMakers.org/summershorts .
RMM Youth Project-outreach to inner city and other youth. RMM is working with the Webster Recreation Center on a short film Today Your Health Tomorrow Your Future. 12 Youth will attempt healthy changes in their lives for 60 days. Students have made commitments to a healthier life choice. RMM volunteers will follow up with them every other week. There is potential for this to be a longer running documentary project this summer.
RMM Summer Internships-RMM has internship proposals out to local schools to keep some of their filmmaking students in town and working on locally produced short films this spring and summer.
