RMM Summer Shorts

Production of several of this years Summer Shorts screenplays are well underway, some with schedules you can see online at www.RochesterMovieMakers.org/forum. There are lots of opportunities to work as crew on some of these short films and some may still have actors roles they need to fill.
To get involved, visit the forum or come to any of the many May RMM meetings (see below).
RMM-The Writer Group

We have usurped the last two Writer Group meeting for auditions for RMM Summer Shorts. This Sunday at 11:30am marks the return of the RMM Writer Group. Bring 10 pages of your screenplays for a group read and critique or just come to hang out with other local writers.

Lots going on for local film makers this week. Great opportunities to meet other local and non-local film makers and fans through the weekend at 360-365 (the renamed Rochester High Falls Film Festival). Here is a list of some of the FREE STUFF!

PANEL: THE AUSTIN CONNECTION

Austin, Texas-based directors David Lowery (St. Nick), Bryan Poyser (Lovers of Hate), and Alex Karpovsky (Trust Us, This is All Made Up) have all made their own personal and distinct feature films, but they've been able to draw upon each other's multi-faceted talents to get their own films completed. Lowery, Poyser, and Karpovsky will join us to discuss how a generational filmmaking style that began as Mumblecore has evolved into an almost communal approach to the art form.
